Job summary

Davidson in Australia seeks a Senior Business Analyst with hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience to drive delivery of improved processes, systems and customer outcomes. The role sits across business and technology teams, turning ambiguity into practical solutions.

You will lead D365 initiatives, document AS-IS and TO-BE processes, facilitate workshops, elicit requirements, and ensure traceability from business needs to system capabilities.

Qualifications

• Recent, hands-on experience as a Senior Business Analyst on Microsoft Dynamics 365 / D365 initiatives.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 products such as CE/CRM, Finance & Operations or Business Central.
• Proven ability to analyse AS-IS processes and design TO-BE processes.
• Strong requirements elicitation using interviews, workshops, observation and process walkthroughs.
• Excellent documentation including requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and traceability.

Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis across Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation, enhancement or transformation initiatives.
• Analyse current-state AS-IS processes, pain points and business objectives.
• Facilitate workshops to define future-state TO-BE processes and solution requirements.
• Elicit and document functional and non-functional requirements, rules, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Map business processes using BPMN 2.0 or equivalent.
• Translate business needs into D365 capabilities, including fit-gap, configuration, integration, data and reporting impacts.
• Collaborate with SMEs, project teams, solution architects, developers and testers.
• Manage engagement with vendors and implementation partners, including review of deliverables and scope clarification.
• Produce high-quality documentation including requirements specs, process maps and UAT materials.
