Job summary

Platinum Blasting Services in Brisbane is seeking a Senior Drill & Blast Engineer to join our Technical team on-site with regular visits to the Brisbane CBD support office. You will lead drill & blast design, QA, stakeholder liaison and continuous improvement while mentoring junior team members and supporting on-site operations.

You should have solid drill and blast experience, a track record mentoring others, and the ability to translate complex technical information into clear insights.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in drill and blast engineering.
• Proven experience leading or mentoring others.
• Ability to translate complex technical information into simple, actionable insights.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel and work in a dynamic operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead drill & blast design, QA and performance reviews.
• Line-managed on-site crew with support from Technical Services Manager.
• Collaborate with site engineers, production teams and clients.
• Provide on-ground technical support and data analysis for continuous improvement.
