Dyno Nobel is seeking a hands-on Technical Engineer to deliver technical blasting support for a key long-term customer in the Bowen Basin. You will lead technical projects, blasting trials, and continuous improvement initiatives with site teams, driving value-in-use outcomes and safety.

Qualifications

Proven technical expertise in drill and blast, ideally in coal operations.
Tertiary qualifications in mining/engineering or extensive industry experience (≥10 years) in drill and blast.
Strong problem-solving, detail orientation, and customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

Provide technical drill and blast support for a key customer operation.
Lead blasting trials and continuous improvement initiatives across sites.
Deliver technical input for blast designs and training for crews.
Manage technical projects and trials, coordinating with site teams and customers.
Build relationships with customer technical teams and operational stakeholders.
Plan and evaluate blasting trials and projects to improve outcomes and product performance.
