Job summary

CPB Contractors is seeking a Senior Document Controller for a major data centre infrastructure project in Melbourne. You will own the document control process from construction through to handover, ensuring access to the right information for project teams, contractors and stakeholders.

You will manage large volumes of technical docs, maintain strict version control, and drive governance and best practices across the project lifecycle in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Senior Document Controller on complex construction, infrastructure, mining or data centre projects.
• Experience in large-scale project environments, data centres or mission-critical facilities.
• Strong knowledge of document control systems, governance and compliance.

Your opportunity

We're looking for a Senior Document Controller to play a key role in the delivery of a major data centre project that's helping power the next wave of digital and AI-driven growth.

This is an opportunity to join a high-profile, complex build where you'll be at the centre of keeping critical project information accurate, controlled and moving. We're particularly interested in people who have worked on large-scale data centre projects and understand the fast-paced, highly regulated nature of hyperscale and enterprise environments.

In this hands-on role, you'll take ownership of document control across the project, ensuring systems, processes and standards are in place to support delivery from construction through to commissioning and handover. You'll work closely with project teams, contractors and stakeholders to ensure everyone has access to the right information at the right time.

What you'll be doing:

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience as a Senior Document Controller on complex construction, infrastructure, mining or data centre projects
• Experience working in large-scale project environments, ideally within data centres or other mission-critical facilities
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• The ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced project environment
• Strong knowledge of document control systems, governance and compliance requirements
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to build relationships across project teams and stakeholders
