CPB Contractors, part of the ACS Group, is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support the delivery of a major data centre project in Melbourne. You will own major work packages, lead site teams, and drive planning, procurement and delivery on site with autonomy and a strong team backing.

You will mentor Project Engineers and Graduates while building a high-performing project culture, delivering safety, cost, and schedule targets in a complex, high-value environment.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering large-scale construction or infrastructure projects valued at $150M+.
• A proven ability to lead complex work packages and coordinate multiple stakeholders, disciplines and contractors.
• Strong commercial understanding, including cost control, forecasting, contract administration and project reporting.
• Experience managing procurement and subcontractor performance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Sound technical knowledge and the confidence to make decisions in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Building project experience will be highly regarded.
• The ability to earn trust quickly and build strong working relationships at every level.
• A genuine interest in developing people and leading from the front.

We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of a major data centre project, driving the next wave of digital and AI-enabled growth. This isn’t a role where you’ll be managing spreadsheets from the sidelines.

You’ll take ownership of major work packages on a significant project, leading everything from planning and procurement through to delivery on site. You’ll have the backing of an experienced project team, but the autonomy to make decisions, solve problems and drive outcomes.

Whether it’s coordinating critical interfaces, navigating delivery challenges or finding smarter ways to get the job done, you’ll be trusted to lead your scope and make an impact.

As a senior member of the team, you’ll also help shape the next generation of engineers, providing guidance, sharing lessons learned and helping build a high-performing project culture.

What You’ll Bring

You’ve built your career delivering complex construction projects and know what it takes to keep work moving when conditions aren’t always straightforward.
