Job summary

CPL Corporation is seeking a Senior Direct Support Worker in Ballina, NSW. You will oversee and coordinate support to clients, helping them access accommodation of their choice, promote independence and community participation.

The role spans Ballina and Byron Bay, with hands-on guidance to direct support staff and direct involvement in care planning. You will be responsible for personal care assistance, appointment coordination with health professionals, and maintaining clear medical

Qualifications

Experience in service delivery requirements of group centre based programs and supported independent living.
Confidence to act as a role model and team leader.
Familiar with care plans, medical documentation and reporting processes.
Excellent communication skills, liaise with management to optimise response time on time sensitive issues.
Flexibility to a work pattern that spans Ballina and Byron Bay.
NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check.
Current Nationally accredited First Aid and CPR.

Responsibilities

Oversee, coordinate and provide support to people to access and live in accommodation of their choice.
Provide on-shift guidance and support to Direct Support Workers, identify daily priorities and delegate tasks to ensure optimal service delivery.
Assist individuals with personal care, scheduling appointments and activities with health professionals.
