Scyne Advisory Pty is seeking a Manager - Digital Forensics and Incident Response to lead DFIR engagements for government and public sector clients in Australia. You will apply hands-on technical skills, guide a small team, and respond to incidents using MITRE ATT&CK and NIST frameworks.

You'll work across on-premise and cloud environments, participate in 24/7 on-call rosters, and help grow capabilities, products and services while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in incident response, digital forensics or security operations.
• Hands-on skills across networks, hyperscale clouds (Azure, AWS, GCP), SaaS, end-user compute.
• Knowledge of DFIR data analysis and tooling.
• Foundations in MITRE ATT&CK and NIST frameworks.
• Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call roster.

Responsibilities

• Respond to cyber incidents with hands-on support and expert advice.
• Follow DFIR frameworks including NIST and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Work in sensitive, regulated environments across government/public sectors.
• Mentor junior team members to grow DFIR skills.
• Collaborate with Scyne and alliance partners to deliver client outcomes.
• Develop new capabilities, products and services based on market demand.
