Job summary

Scyne Advisory Pty is seeking a Manager - Digital Forensics and Incident Response to lead DFIR engagements for government and public sector clients. You will apply DFIR frameworks, guide junior staff, and collaborate across Scyne and alliance partners to deliver 24/7 on-call support in remote or on-site settings.

You bring 5+ years in incident response or security operations, strong cloud and network skills, and certifications such as GCIH/GCFA.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven industry experience in incident response, digital forensics or security operations.
• Hands-on technical skills in networks, hyperscale clouds (Azure, AWS, GCP), SaaS apps, end user compute and data management.
• Sound knowledge of digital forensics and data analysis practices with relevant tooling.
• Foundations in MITRE ATT&CK and NIST SP 800-61.
• Basic project management skills and ability to lead a small team.

Responsibilities

• Lead DFIR engagements for government and public sector clients, delivering hands-on support and expert advice.
• Apply DFIR frameworks and practices across sensitive environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet client needs and adhere to policies.
• Mentor junior team members to grow DFIR skills and experience.
• Contribute to development of new capabilities and services based on market demand.
