Job summary

Emanate Technology Pty Ltd in Brisbane is seeking an experienced cloud/DevOps engineer to own and mature our cloud platforms across Azure and AWS. You will build and automate using Terraform, drive security uplift, and enhance CI/CD practices to support rapid growth.

You’ll collaborate with security, shape platform standards, and improve observability with Grafana while operating in a hybrid 4 days in-office / 1 day remote setup.

Qualifications

• Experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
• Proficient with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of cloud security, identity and secrets management.
• Experience with containers and cloud-native platforms.
• Experience with monitoring and incident management.
• Scripting in PowerShell, Python or Bash.

Responsibilities

• Mature the Azure environment and align standards across both cloud platforms.
• Drive security uplift and vulnerability management initiatives.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Work heavily with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Improve observability, monitoring and platform health visibility using Grafana.
• Influence platform and architecture decisions.
• Partner closely with Security while remaining hands-on technically.
• Establish engineering standards that support growth without creating bureaucracy.
