Job summary

Emanate Technology in Brisbane is seeking a hands-on Cloud DevOps Engineer to drive maturity of cloud platforms across AWS and Azure. You will own CI/CD pipelines, IaC with Terraform, and security posture while collaborating with security and platform teams.

This role offers a hybrid setup: four days in the Brisbane office and one day from home. You’ll partner on automation, observability with Grafana, and future Kubernetes direction, applying scripting in PowerShell, Python or Bash.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of cloud security, identity and secrets management.
• Experience with containers and cloud-native platforms.
• Familiarity with monitoring/observability and incident management.
• Scripting with PowerShell, Python or Bash; Kubernetes experience is beneficial.

AWS is already in a strong position with established automation, Infrastructure as Code and delivery practices, while Azure is on a similar journey following the introduction of new landing zones. You'll be involved in:
