Job summary

Paxus in Brisbane is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to build, automate and optimise cloud platforms within a technology-driven organisation.

You will design CI/CD pipelines, implement IaC with Terraform or Bicep, manage Azure environments, and partner with developers to improve deployment speed, reliability and security.

This permanent, full-time role offers ownership over DevOps practices and a Brisbane-based working environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on DevOps professional with automation, cloud tech and continuous improvement.
• Experience across Azure/Azure DevOps, CI/CD, IaC and modern DevOps practices.
• Experience collaborating with development teams to improve deployment speed and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Develop and manageIaC using Terraform, Bicep or similar tools.
• Support and optimise Microsoft Azure environments.
• Automate provisioning, configuration and operations.
• Collaborate with developers to improve engineering and deployment practices.
• Implement monitoring, logging and performance improvements across cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Contribute to DevOps standards, governance and security.
