Job summary

Lockheed Martin Australia is seeking a DevSecOps Analyst – Staff to design, deploy and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines powering AIR6500 software lifecycle. You will partner with developers, testers and PMs to embed security by design and scale tools across Linux and Windows environments.

You will lead infra automation with Ansible, Terraform and Packer, mentor juniors, and drive continuous improvement within a large, matrixed defence program.

Qualifications

• Proven experience participating in Scrum/SAFe teams, delivering commitments on schedule.
• Hands‑on experience with Podman and Kubernetes—building, testing, and scaling application containers/clusters.
• Deep familiarity with Linux and Windows environments; skilled in deployment, hardening, and troubleshooting across both platforms.
• Mastery of GitLab (source control, pipelines) and Nexus (artifact repository) for end‑to‑end CI/CD.
• Extensive use of Ansible, Terraform, and Packer to provision, configure, and manage infrastructure.
• Strong command of the Atlassian suite – Jira, Confluence for planning and documentation.
• Advanced scripting in Bash, PowerShell, Python for deployment tasks.
• Deployment and lifecycle management of software stacks on Windows and Linux.
• Deployment, configuration, and maintenance of SAST/DAST tools in the security stack.
• End‑to‑end Secure Software Supply Chain experience — SBOM generation, code signing, attestation.

Responsibilities

• Debug and resolve build/deployment issues with developers.
• Define and enforce source control, CI/CD and release‑management best practices.
• Build and maintain CI/CD and DevOps infra, including agents, orchestration and dashboards.
• Monitor DevOps infra health and performance.
• Automate builds, checkout, testing, status notifications and system integration activities.
• Deploy and maintain model‑based engineering, development and project management tools.
• Implement and audit security controls per ISM and Defence frameworks.
• Administer and secure DevSecOps hosts, including patching and hardening.
• Mentor junior team members and build team capability.
• Conduct code reviews and documentation reviews.
• Support procurement with evaluation and licensing of AIR6500 engineering tools.
