Job summary

Lockheed Martin is recruiting a Software DevSecOps Developer to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for the AIR6500 lifecycle in a Defence context. The role emphasizes automation, collaboration with developers, and secure software delivery through the SDLC.

You will contribute to DevSecOps infrastructure, container orchestration, and tool suites while supporting secure deployments and continuous improvement within a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with GitLab and Nexus for version and artifact management.
• Experience with build and continuous integration tools, particularly GitLab.
• Experience with Jira for issue tracking and workflow management.
• Experience with Ansible, Terraform and Packer for IaC.
• Experience with automation tools and scripting.
• Experience working within Linux environments.
• Ability to collaborate with developers to troubleshoot build and deployment issues.
• Exposure to containerisation and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with MBSE tools such as IBM Jazz and collaboration platforms like SharePoint.
• Familiarity with API/web services including REST, SOAP, XML and JSON.
• Exposure to VMware vSphere and VMware Horizon.
• Defence/regulated environments experience is valued, and AI prompting is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for the AIR6500 lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD/DevSecOps infrastructure for automated testing and deployment.
• Automate software builds and build verification activities.
• Support build status reporting for releases.
• Monitor DevSecOps infrastructure including containers, agents and dashboards.
• Maintain DevSecOps tools and tool suites.
• Support deployment through the SDLC.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot build/deployment issues.
• Implement best practices for source control and release management.
• Support deployment and evolution of the 1LMX tool suite.
• Contribute to continuous improvement across engineering tools and DevSecOps.
