Job summary

Binance in Canberra is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a hybrid team supporting cloud-based platforms. The role focuses on expanding CI/CD capabilities, automating infrastructure with IaC, and enabling secure, scalable delivery across multiple product teams.

The ideal candidate will have strong AWS experience, Terraform, Docker & Kubernetes skills, and scripting proficiency in Python/Go/JS, within an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and supporting enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong AWS cloud services experience.
• Hands-on with Terraform or IaC technologies.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficient scripting in Python/Go/JavaScript.
• Experience in Agile delivery environments.
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Support cloud-hosted application environments and platform services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve deployment, integration, and environment issues.
• Implement DevOps best practices across multiple delivery teams.
• Enhance release management processes and deployment automation.
• Support containerised application deployments and orchestration platforms.
• Collaborate with security and architecture teams to ensure compliance and governance standards are maintained.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across cloud and platform engineering functions.
