Job summary

Colonial Group in Australia is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a high-performing technology team responsible for modernising enterprise delivery platforms and supporting large-scale cloud-based applications.

The role focuses on improving CI/CD capabilities, automating infrastructure with IaC (Terraform), and supporting cloud-hosted environments. You will collaborate with developers, testers, and security teams to ensure secure, scalable delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with AWS cloud services.
• Hands-on experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes environments.
• Scripting or development capabilities in Python, JavaScript, or Go.
• Experience in Agile delivery environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC.
• Support cloud-hosted application environments and platform services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve deployment, integration, and environment issues.
• Implement DevOps best practices across multiple delivery teams.
• Enhance release management processes and deployment automation.
• Support containerised deployments and orchestration platforms.
• Collaborate with security and architecture teams to ensure governance.
