Job summary

eHealth NSW is seeking a Senior Engineer – DevOps (eRIC) to design, build and operate cloud-enabled health platforms across NSW Health. You will work with Principal Engineers, Product Owners and delivery teams to ensure secure, scalable solutions, using AWS, Azure DevOps, Confluence, GitHub, Terraform and Ansible.

Role offers permanent full-time status with hybrid flexibility for Chatswood, St Leonards or Charlestown and a salary range from $153,559 to $182,954 plus super and annual leave

Qualifications

• Has extensive experience designing, building and operating enterprise applications.
• Hands-on DevOps delivery experience with Agile practices.
• Demonstrated experience using AWS, Azure DevOps, Confluence, GitHub, Terraform and Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Lead roadmap deliverables with Engineers and Product Owners, prioritise design trade-offs and align delivery with customer needs.
• Refine, size, document and implement user stories using Agile tools like Azure DevOps, Confluence and GitHub.
• Manage migration and transformation across cloud and DevOps environments to support roadmaps.
• Improve security, resilience and availability through coding standards and automation.
