Job summary

Amida Recruitment is representing a leading boutique developer-builder undertaking mixed-use projects in Brisbane. The senior Development Manager / Project Manager role spans acquisition, feasibility, planning, design management, approvals, funding, procurement, construction, sales and handover with GDV up to $60m.

The role emphasizes development management with oversight of construction and commercial outcomes across residential and commercial sectors.

Qualifications

Bachelor qualification in Construction Management, Project Management or Business Administration preferred.
10–15 years' experience in construction project management, contracts administration, development management or client-side PM within construction or property development.
Experience with residential townhouses, apartments and/or commercial projects.

Responsibilities

Lead development projects from acquisition through to completion.
Manage development feasibility, due diligence, planning and approvals processes.
Lead site selection and development prospecting activities.
Arrange surveying, engineering and concept design advice for acquisitions.
Undertake competitor analysis and comparable sales/rental assessments for feasibility.
Coordinate development approvals, authority approvals and conditions matrices.
Manage development budgets, schedules, cash-flow forecasting and reporting.
Provide leadership in design management from site analysis through IFC documentation.
Oversee construction delivery and commercial oversight of projects from $500k to $20m.
