Job summary

Verso Development Group in Queensland seeks a Senior Development Manager/Development Director to lead day-to-day development operations for multiple mixed-use projects. You will oversee feasibility, approvals, design coordination, construction oversight and handover.

You will liaise with internal teams, authorities and consultants to keep projects on time and within budget while delivering robust financial reporting and strategic value for the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a development management role.
• Proven track record delivering complex multi-stakeholder projects.
• Strong commercial acumen and financial management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Innovative problem-solving and ability to work autonomously.
• Thorough understanding of the development process from planning to asset management.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day development operations for multiple mixed-use projects.
• Manage feasibility, planning approvals, design coordination, construction oversight and handover.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, authorities, contractors and consultants to ensure timely, on-budget delivery.
• Prepare detailed financial and reporting documentation to track progress and inform decisions.
• Identify risks and opportunities and address them throughout the development process.
• Provide leadership to foster collaborative, high-performing teams.
• Oversee leasing and strategic planning for the project.
