Ivory Group in Sydney is seeking a Senior Development Engineer to facilitate new development while ensuring compliance with Council delivery standards and permit conditions.

You will evaluate development applications for compliance with development controls and contribute to public infrastructure projects, working within a collaborative team. The role offers flexibility with start/finish times, potential work-from-home days, and an initial 6-month contract with extension potential.

Formación

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Local Government experience is desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Senior Development Engineer, you will facilitate new developmentwhilst maintaining compliance with relevant Council delivery standards, engineering
principles and permit related conditions. You'll be responsible for evaluating development applications to assess compliance with relevant development controls.

DUTIES

• Proficient in hydraulic, hydrologic, and drainage system modelling and design software
• Sound working knowledge of construction practices and their impacts on public infrastructure
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and support the professional development of others
• Negotiating outcomes with internal and external stakeholders
  

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant qualifications
• Previous experience in Local Government is highly desirable
• High level of attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills
