Zerra DC is seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead design management and quality assurance across Zerra’s hyperscale data centre projects in Australia. You will act as the technical authority, conceptualising, reviewing and driving designs to the desired outcomes while auditing deliverables for compliance with Zerra standards and Australian codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CSA or MEPH engineering; electrical background preferred.
• Chartered status with Engineers Australia (CPEng) and NER preferred.
• 10+ years of design or design-management experience on data centre or large-scale projects.
• Knowledge of NCC/BCA, AS/NZS standards, AER/AEMO and DNSP requirements; EPBC Act.
• Strong problem solving, communication and collaboration skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead design management and QA/QC across Zerra’s Australian projects.
• Audit designs for compliance with Zerra standards and Australian codes.
• Chair knowledge-share meetings and DEG revisions; mentor design teams.
• Engage external consultants to align CSA and MEPH designs with cost goals.
• Attend gating presentations and support DE&C leadership in Australia.
• Enforce Zerra templates; adapt designs to NCC/AS/NZS and approvals.
