The role involves delivering challenging demolition and civil works, typically valued from $1m to $20m+, and overseeing one large project or multiple smaller ones.

The ideal candidate has 5–15+ years’ experience in demolition/civil construction, with hands‑on leadership, excellent communication, and a proven ability to manage client expectations and teams.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or similar.
• 5–15+ years’ management experience on demolition and civil construction projects with values of $1m to $20m+.
• Proven demolition experience.
• Project management qualifications advantageous.
• Hands-on leadership and delegation abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and contribute to tenders for demolition and civil projects.
• Plan and schedule construction activities.
• Manage site project teams and subcontractors.
• Ensure Quality Assurance, cost and time management.
• Prepare and present management reports on progress and risks.
• Resolve site issues in a timely manner.
• Liaise with key clients and stakeholders.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to deliver projects.
• Engage in business development and assist mentoring of teams.
