Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or similar.
• 5–15+ years’ management experience on demolition and civil construction projects with values of $1m to $20m+.
• Proven demolition experience.
• Project management qualifications advantageous.
• Hands-on leadership and delegation abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and contribute to tenders for demolition and civil projects.
• Plan and schedule construction activities.
• Manage site project teams and subcontractors.
• Ensure Quality Assurance, cost and time management.
• Prepare and present management reports on progress and risks.
• Resolve site issues in a timely manner.
• Liaise with key clients and stakeholders.

Our client is a well‑established and market‑leading civil contractor, looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Project Manager – Demolition to join their growing business. The client provides services across a number of industry sectors such as building, government, industrial, transport infrastructure, environmental, etc. and the role involves contributing to the successful delivery of challenging projects, predominantly demolition with typical values from $1m to $20m+. The candidate will typically run one large project or 2 to 3 smaller ones, and previous experience delivering a $20m+ demolition as number 1 is ideal.
