Department of Human Services SA is seeking a Senior Diversity Equality and Inclusion Consultant to drive the organisation's DEI strategy. You will lead and support DEI initiatives, engage Employee Led Networks, and provide expert guidance on inclusion matters across a large, diverse department.

The role emphasizes practical actions, stakeholder collaboration and reporting on progress to continuously improve the inclusive experience for DHS staff.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
• Experience facilitating workshops, focus groups and engagement activities.
• Strong written, analytical and communication skills.
• Sound knowledge of contemporary DEI practices and workforce trends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support implementation of DHS diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and action plans.
• Support and partner with Employee Led Networks to strengthen inclusion, engagement and employee voice.
• Monitor and report on progress against key diversity and inclusion commitments and action plans.
• Facilitate workshops, focus groups, consultation and engagement activities.
• Provide practical advice to leaders, managers and employees on inclusion-related matters.
• Contribute to workforce reporting, evaluation and continuous improvement activities.
• Develop resources, guidance and initiatives that support inclusive workplace practices.
• Build productive relationships across DHS and with external networks and partners.
