Job summary

Linktree is seeking a Senior Data Scientist for the Core Product Analytics team. You will define metrics, run experiments, and perform analyses to guide product direction.

You’ll own data pipelines, dashboards, and datasets, partnering with Product, Engineering, Design and Marketing to drive growth and monetisation. You will shape measurement standards, mentor teammates, and translate complex findings into actionable recommendations for senior leadership, supporting Linktree’s mission to empower

Qualifications

• 4–5+ years experience as Data Scientist or Product Analyst in a high-growth, product-led tech
• Hands-on with experiments from quick tests to formal hypotheses
• Advanced SQL and Python for analysis and modelling; build pipelines/datasets
• Experience with modern data stacks (dbt, Dagster/Airflow, Snowflake/BigQuery) and BI tools such as Looker/Hex
• Track record of defining product metrics and using data to influence decisions
• Comfort with ambiguity and presenting to senior stakeholders
• Bachelor’s in math, stats, economics, CS or related field, MS/PhD a plus

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve core product metrics and metric trees from acquisition to monetisation
• Design, run and evaluate A/B tests and quasi-experiments across the core product
• Lead deep-dive analyses on growth, retention and revenue
• Build and own datasets, dbt models and dashboards for self-serve visibility
• Collaborate with PMs and engineering on roadmap prioritisation and success criteria
• Set standards for experimentation and analytical rigour across the company
• Communicate insights to product leadership and executive team in clear narratives
