Job summary
Specsavers ANZ is seeking a seasoned Data Project Delivery leader to balance leadership and delivery responsibilities. You will guide a team of Data Project Managers and oversee major data initiatives, ensuring delivery to scope, time, cost and quality while strengthening governance and portfolio practices.
You will drive cross-functional delivery with Technology, Data, PMO and Change stakeholders, reporting to the Head of Data (ANZ).
Qualifications
- 10+ years in delivering complex projects and programs.
- 5+ years leading large-scale data and tech initiatives.
- Proven people leadership, coaching and capability development.
- Strong knowledge of data platforms, analytics, and architecture.
- Experience with waterfall, agile and hybrid delivery.
- PMO governance, standards and reporting expertise.
- PRINCE2 and Agile certifications highly regarded.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Jira, Confluence and Halo.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing Data Project Management team.
- Deliver complex data/tech projects from initiation to BAU transition.
- Drive governance, portfolio management, and reporting standards.
- Manage scope, budgets, timelines, risks and dependencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders; escalate delivery challenges.
