Job summary

Specsavers is seeking a seasoned Data Business Analysis leader for ANZ. You will lead a regional Data Business Analysis function, balancing team leadership (20–30%) with hands-on data analysis (70–80%), and partner with executives to drive data-led decisions.

You will establish standards, mentor analysts, and ensure delivery of data products across strategic initiatives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience as a Senior or Lead Business Analyst within Data, Analytics or Technology environments.
• Proven people leadership experience, including coaching, mentoring and capability development of Business Analysts.
• A strong track record delivering analysis across large, complex programs and projects.
• Experience establishing and improving Data Business Analysis practices, frameworks and standards.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including engagement with senior leaders.
• Experience working across Agile, Product and Project delivery environments.
• Strong data domain knowledge and experience working on data-centric projects and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Leading, coaching and developing a team of Data Business Analysts.
• Establishing and improving data business analysis standards, methods, templates and tools.
• Driving quality and consistency across analysis practices.
• Facilitating complex workshops and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Eliciting, analysing and documenting business, functional and data requirements.
• Translating business needs into actionable requirements, user stories and solutions.
• Supporting the successful delivery of data products and strategic initiatives.
• Partnering with business leaders, technology teams and global stakeholders to drive data-led decision making.
