Job summary

Specsavers is seeking an experienced Data Business Analysis leader to drive regional analytics initiatives in ANZ. The role blends 20–30% people leadership with 70–80% hands-on data analysis, guiding teams and shaping standards.

You’ll partner with business leaders, technology teams and global stakeholders to translate needs into actionable data products, supporting strategic initiatives and data‑led decision making.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience as a Senior or Lead Business Analyst within Data, Analytics or Technology environments.
• Proven people leadership experience, including coaching, mentoring and capability development of Business Analysts.
• A strong track record delivering analysis across large, complex programs and projects.
• Experience establishing and improving Data Business Analysis practices, frameworks and standards.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including engagement with senior leaders.
• Experience working across Agile, Product and Project delivery environments.
• Strong data domain knowledge and experience working on data‑centric projects and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Leading, coaching and developing a team of Data Business Analysts.
• Establishing and improving data business analysis standards, methods, templates and tools.
• Driving quality and consistency across analysis practices.
• Facilitating complex workshops and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Eliciting, analysing and documenting business, functional and data requirements.
• Translating business needs into actionable requirements, user stories and solutions.
• Supporting the successful delivery of data products and strategic initiatives.
• Partnering with business leaders, technology teams and global stakeholders to drive data‑led decision making.
