Job summary

Accenture is seeking a senior data migration engineer to lead multi-team efforts in data conversions and cloud migrations. You will automate discovery, design data architectures, and own ETL pipelines from legacy sources to GCP, while ensuring metadata integrity and governance.

You will collaborate with security, infrastructure and application teams, establish engineering standards, and guide delivery with transparent risk communication and robust runbooks.

Qualifications

• Experience automating data discovery and metadata capture.
• Strong SQL Server design, modelling and optimisation skills.
• Proven ETL engineering with SSIS and data cleansing capabilities.
• Experience migrating data to cloud platforms and validating results.

Responsibilities

• Automate Data Discovery across enterprise environments with PowerShell.
• Design and implement data architecture, schemas and metadata repos.
• Lead SSIS/ETL pipelines including validation and monitoring.
• Deliver end-to-end cloud migration to GCP with reconciliation.
• Create runbooks, cutover plans and rollback procedures.
• Develop migration governance reporting with Power BI and DAX.
• Provide senior engineering leadership and cross-team coordination.
