Job summary

Accenture PLC is seeking a hands-on Data/AI Specialist to contribute to Google Cloud-based data platforms. You will design and implement data pipelines, model ML solutions, and governance with BigQuery, Dataflow, and Looker, collaborating with clients and senior architects.

You will work across data ingestion, modeling, and MLOps, learning modern GCP patterns, and supporting end-to-end delivery in client engagements. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, ML Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum of 2 years of practical experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with SQL, data modeling, and building data pipelines.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with Python or AI/GenAI tools (Vertex AI preferred).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience). If Associate’s Degree, must have equivalent minimum 6-year work experience

Responsibilities

• Hands-on technical delivery for data and AI solutions.
• Build data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and integrations using GCP services like BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage.
• Assist with data modeling, performance tuning, and query optimization in BigQuery.
• Implement data ingestion patterns for batch and streaming sources.
• Support development of dashboards and analytics products using Looker or Looker Studio.
• Support ML and AI solution development using Vertex AI, Gemini models, embeddings, and APIs.
• Implement ML pipelines and help establish MLOps processes including monitoring and retraining.
• Support prompt engineering, embeddings, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) experiments.
• Participate in client workshops, translate requirements, and track progress.
