Job summary

APM is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build and optimise enterprise data platforms using the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem. You will lead data governance, security and performance improvements across the data lifecycle.

You will collaborate with Architects, Cyber Security, Infrastructure and Analytics teams to deliver modern data platforms and cloud transformations that support reporting, analytics and AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in enterprise data platforms and related infrastructure.
• Hands-on delivery of Microsoft Fabric implementations and transformation projects.
• Expertise in Fabric, OneLake, Lakehouse and data warehouse architectures.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, SQL Server and Azure SQL.
• Knowledge of Power BI and semantic modeling, SQL, Python and PySpark.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and optimise enterprise data solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
• Lead data governance, security and compliance across the data lifecycle.
• Develop resilient batch and streaming data pipelines from various sources.
• Drive performance tuning, monitoring and capacity management.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring across teams.
