Job summary
Apm-Group is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to drive enterprise data transformation using the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem. You will design, build and support data platforms, acting as a technical SME and championing governance, performance and security across the data lifecycle.
You will collaborate with Architects, Cyber Security, Infrastructure and Analytics teams to deliver scalable, real-time data integration, analytics, and reporting initiatives while mentoring junior engineers and leading
Qualifications
- 7+ years' experience supporting enterprise data platforms.
- Hands-on with Microsoft Fabric implementations.
- Expert in Fabric components: OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse.
- Proficient in SQL, Python and PySpark.
- Experience with data governance, security and compliance.
- Proven ability to design scalable cloud data platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design and optimise Microsoft Fabric solutions across data layers.
- Develop and deploy scalable data pipelines from various sources.
- Lead data platform migration and modernisation projects.
- Drive data quality, governance, security and compliance.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring for data teams.
- Troubleshoot production environments and perform RCAs.
