Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years experience with Tier 1/2 head contractor or consultancy on complex projects, ideally Data Centres.
• Experience managing D&C building services packages on complex projects valued $100M+.
• Strong communication, leadership, safety, quality control, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee flow of technical information between engineering disciplines and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with specs and standards.
• Manage construction contracts, including due diligence and compliance for third-party agreements, for the client.
• Report to Head of Construction on progress, forecasting, budget, procurement, and schedule updates.
• Ensure end-to-end oversight of assigned construction projects, focusing on value, safety, and verification of works.
• Identify opportunities to optimise delivery, timelines or innovation, liaise with consultants as needed.
• Conduct meetings and maintain regular communication with key stakeholders from design to handover.
• Build partnerships with suppliers and vendors, collaborating to enhance the function’s capability.
• Mentor junior staff and foster a positive team culture.
