Qualifications

• Degree in construction management or related field is required.
• 5–10 years of project management experience in a data centre or similar environment is expected.
• Strong knowledge of project life cycle, scheduling, budgeting and risk management.
• Experience with contract drafting and document control.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage client interfaces.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Manage complex projects and programs as the key client interface
• Developing working relationships, problem solving and driving projects to successful completion
• Managing the design process to achieve the client's requirements and manage expectations
• Reviewing project plans and specifications, scheduling, costs saving measures, discrepancies, potential construction problems, etc
• Managing project safety and environmental requirements
• Managing project timelines, risks and reporting
• Managing project budgets and advising on options to keep budget on track
• Being engaged with marketing and business development initiatives
• Co-ordinating vendor scope with overall project delivery
• Contract Execution: Drafting contract documents in strict accordance with legal approved contract templates. Working closely with project team/sto ensure effective and timely document processing and management of contract documents
• Bring strong communication, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
• Degree in a Construction Managementa related field
• Technical understanding of Data Centre Infrastructure - HVAC, Electrical, Generators, Fire, Security and BMS
• Professional/tertiary qualification in project management, engineering or construction
• A minimum of 5 - 10 years project management experience,gained within a Data Centre or similar technical environment
• A thorough understanding of the total project life cycle, from project inception stage, design, authority approvals through to construction completion and post-project review
• Excellent knowledge and experience of all of the main project management concepts, tools and techniques
• Ability to thrive in a high pressure, fast paced environment
• Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your client
