Job summary

Peoplebank is seeking a Senior Data Centre & Infrastructure Engineer based in Brisbane to support a cyber security program. You will deliver migrations into modern, secure data centre environments and work with cyber security and data centre teams to plan, implement, test and document changes.

The role is contract until Jun'27, with extensions possible, and offers a competitive daily rate in a Government sector setting.

Qualifications

• Proven delivery of complex data centre infrastructure and workload migration initiatives.
• Strong hands-on experience with VMware and Nutanix, including migration activities and platform operations.
• Strong Windows Server administration and remediation experience.
• Active Directory and core Microsoft infrastructure services capability.
• Solid infrastructure solution design aligned to architecture standards.
• Strong networking including VLAN, DNS updates, and coordinating validation/testing.
• Experience producing high-quality technical documentation.
• Remediation of infrastructure issues arising from penetration testing / vulnerability assessments.
• Ability to work across multiple teams in an enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyse current-state services and design target-state migrations into modern, secure data centres.
• Plan, implement, test and document changes with cyber security, data centre teams and stakeholders.
