Randstad in Brisbane CBD seeks a Senior Technical Business Analyst to support a large Infrastructure and Security Modernisation program. You will work with architects, engineers and operations to drive network and security enhancements, observability uplift, and operational improvements.

You will elicit, analyse and translate business, technical and operational needs into clear requirements, develop large business cases, and support testing and BAU transitions across delivery teams.

Senior Technical Business Analyst

12 Month Contract

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Business Analyst to support a large, complex Infrastructure and Security Modernisation initiative. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and operational teams to drive network and security enhancements, observability uplift, and operational improvements.

Provide technical business analysis capability across a large, complex infrastructure and security modernisation program.

Develop large, complex business cases to support significant initiatives, including options analysis, benefits, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) considerations.

Elicit, analyse, and translate business, technical, and operational needs into clear, actionable functional and non-functional requirements.

Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure solutions are technically sound and aligned with delivery objectives.

Support testing, operational readiness, change adoption, and the seamless transition of solutions to business-as-usual (BAU) operations.

A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in Project Management, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

Demonstrated experience as a Technical Business Analyst delivering complex ICT infrastructure and security projects.

Proven expertise in eliciting and documenting both functional and non-functional requirements.

Significant experience developing comprehensive business cases, operational plans, and investment cases, including the analysis of current-state challenges and future-state benefits.

A strong understanding of digital infrastructure domains, including networks, cyber security, cloud platforms, and disaster recovery considerations.
