Data Migration Technical Lead

• Long term, 12 months + possible extensions

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Data Migration Technical Lead to provide technical leadership across data analysis, governance, and end‑to‑end data migration.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and guidance across all data migration activities.


• Facilitate workshops to define data requirements, mapping rules, and transformation logic.


• Develop, coordinate, and oversee end‑to‑end data migration strategies.


• Collaborate with project managers, architects, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery and risk management.

Required Skills

• Strong Technical Expertise in Data Migration including extraction, transformation, mapping, loading, and validation.


• Ability to apply data governance principles.


• Ability to estimate work effort, manage risks, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery.


• Experience in agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA).


• Strong workshop‑facilitation skills to gather requirements and align expectations.


• Background working in large‑scale data migration programs preferably within public sector.
