Job summary

Compas is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to deliver complex data centre and ICT infrastructure outcomes across a major Australian Government program, supporting infrastructure design, service improvement, technical change, incident recovery and operational delivery.

You will coordinate ICT infrastructure changes, lead major incident response and root-cause analysis, and contribute to architecture, rack allocation, cabling and power utilization while developing standards and procedures.

Qualifications

• Baseline security clearance is required.
• Experience with ICT infrastructure design, changes and service delivery.
• Ability to lead major incident response and root-cause analysis.

Essential Tasks

Key Criteria

• Availability management Level 4 capability across service reliability, maintainability and serviceability.
• IT infrastructure Level 4 capability, providing technical expertise across operational procedures.
• Problem management Level 3 capability, investigating issues and implementing remedies and preventative measures.
• Experience across systems design, complex installation/removal and simple scripting or software development.
