Job summary

Paxus is seeking a Senior Data Centre Design Infrastructure Engineer to support the design and modernisation of critical ICT rooms and network infrastructure in Sydney. The role requires leading multi-disciplinary teams and ensuring high availability and resilience.

You will design data centre ICT rooms, manage power/cooling capacity, rack layouts, and produce thorough design documentation. NV1 clearance is a must, with initial onsite work and potential hybrid arrangements.

Qualifications

• Experience designing data centre ICT rooms or network infrastructure.
• Experience with availability management and service resilience.
• Experience monitoring infrastructure capacity and addressing capacity shortfalls.
• Strong understanding of operational ICT infrastructure procedures.
• Ability to document data design and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage multi-discipline team with complex interfaces and schedules.
• Provide strategic planning, mapping and modelling development.
• Produce clear data reports and visualisations for management.
• Develop data visualisations to present analytics to stakeholders.
• Identify trends and risks from data and advise on governance.
