Job summary

Paxus - Technology + Digital Talent is seeking a Data Centre Field Infrastructure Engineer in Sydney to support delivery and modernisation of critical ICT and data centre infrastructure. You will plan, install, maintain and improve secure, reliable and scalable infra across data centre facilities, ICT rooms, networks, servers, power utilisation, rack allocation and cabling.

Qualifications

Hands-on delivery experience across data centre infrastructure.
Experience planning, installing, maintaining and improving secure, reliable, scalable infrastructure environments.
Ability to coordinate technical changes and troubleshoot complex issues with project managers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Provide technical guidance to project teams and business representatives.
Identify and implement service improvements to enhance reliability, security, supportability and operational efficiency.
Ensure all projects are delivered in line with the Department’s timeframe.
Work with Project Managers to define and schedule deliverables.
Identify risks, issues and opportunities for the business.
Supervise and manage staff involved in infrastructure activities.
Maintain project workflows as required.
Lead and manage projects and technical activities.
Provide strategic planning, mapping and modelling development.
