Job summary

Firmus Technologies, Singapore-based, seeks a Principal Data Engineer to own the data architecture across the company and set standards for scalable platforms. You will lead end-to-end data pipelines from GPU telemetry to the data lake, drive governance, and ensure security and compliance across multiple data centres.

You will mentor engineers, run architecture reviews, and collaborate with AI and application teams to support enterprise and government customers with high-throughput data systems

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data engineering or data architecture with platform-level decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Data Architecture & Technology Strategy: Own patterns and standards and long-term decisions.
• Platform Build & Operations: Build real-time data pipelines and storage; ensure SLAs.
• Governance, Quality & Compliance: Define data contracts and enforce quality and compliance.
• Technical Leadership: Review designs, mentor engineers, raise engineering standards.
• Stakeholder & Customer Interface: Present decisions to CTO, partner with AI teams.
