Job summary

Konnexus in Melbourne is seeking a Hands-On Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of a cloud-based data platform within a greenfield environment.

You will balance high-level architecture with practical delivery, shaping data strategy, data models, ETL/ELT pipelines, a scalable data warehouse, and reporting with Power BI while engaging stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong enterprise data architecture experience.
• Hands-on data modelling including dimensional and enterprise modelling.
• Experience with modern data warehouse and data platform architectures.
• Ability to move between high-level architecture and hands-on technical delivery.

• Data Architect/ 12 Month + Fixed Term Contract Role

We're currently looking for a Hands-On Data Architect to join an organisation going through a significant period of change across its data environment.

This role will suit someone who has strong enterprise data architecture experience but is still comfortable being hands-on. You’ll play a key role in shaping the data strategy and overall architecture, while also getting involved across data design, technology selection and driving cloud based data platform implementation.

• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Experience setting standards and best practices across data architecture and engineering
