Job summary

Konnexus in Melbourne is seeking a hands-on Data Architect to design and implement a cloud-based data platform in a greenfield environment. The role balances architecture leadership with practical delivery across data modelling, ETL/ELT pipelines and Power BI.

You will shape the data strategy and architecture, work across reporting models, ensure governance and best practices, and engage with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong data architecture experience in complex environments.
• Hands-on data modelling, including dimensional and enterprise modelling.
• Experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Strong Power BI and semantic model experience.
• Knowledge of modern data warehouse and data platform architecture.
• Ability to switch between high-level architecture and hands-on delivery.
• Stakeholder engagement to translate business requirements.

We're currently looking for a Hands-On Data Architect to join an organisation going through a significant period of change across its data environment.

This role will suit someone who has strong architecture experience but is still comfortable being hands-on. You’ll play a key role in shaping the data strategy and overall architecture, while also getting involved across data modelling, ETL/ELT pipeline development and Power BI.

• Experience setting standards and best practices across data architecture and engineering
