Job summary

Altis Consulting is a leader in Data and Analytics, offering a hybrid working model and a values-driven culture. We seek a Senior Consultant who turns complex requirements into impactful data solutions, working with clients across industries and collaborating with team members to deliver results.

You will design, implement and optimise data and analytics solutions using Azure/AWS/Snowflake, Tableau/Power BI, and DW/BI practices, while communicating effectively with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS or Snowflake (Databricks is a bonus).
• Hands on experience in Tableau, Power BI or similar data visualisation technologies.
• Foundation in DW and BI design, tools, processes and implementation approaches.
• Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence or Data Analytics project experience.
• Data modelling, data ingestion and ETL design knowledge.
• A passion for using data and information to make a real difference.
• Initiative and eager to try new approaches.
• Ability to learn and use new technologies quickly & effectively.
• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with various Data and Analytics tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and develop professionally.
• Tertiary qualification in an IT-related field or relevant work experience.
• 2-5 years of experience in a client-facing role within the IT or analytics sector.
• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric is advantageous, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Actively contribute to project delivery by collaborating with team members.
• Gather and analyse business requirements to shape effective solutions.
• Design and implement tailored Data and Analytics solutions for clients.
• Develop insightful reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
• Communicate complex technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Support user acceptance testing and provide training to end users.
• Offer ongoing post-production support for implemented solutions.
