Granite Group seeks an experienced Senior Data Analyst to lead the HRIS data migration to Workday. You will cleanse and map HR data, collaborate with HR, payroll and IT to ensure migration readiness and data accuracy.

Hands-on role focusing on profiling, transformation rules, validation, and supporting data loads, UAT and cutover. Strong Excel/SQL and Workday experience required, with a Melbourne-based hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience in data analysis, data migration or business analysis.
• Experience delivering at least one end-to-end HRIS or ERP data migration.
• Strong experience working with Workday and/or complex HR and payroll datasets.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong SQL capability for data manipulation, reconciliation and validation.
• Understanding of data mapping, transformation, data quality and relational databases.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Workday data loads, EIBs, payroll parallel testing, Power BI or Python will be advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Analyse, profile and cleanse HR and payroll data across multiple source systems.
• Develop source-to-target data mappings and transformation rules aligned with Workday data requirements.
• Identify data gaps, resolve quality issues and validate datasets ahead of migration.
• Support Workday data loads, mock conversions, reconciliation, UAT and payroll parallel testing.
• Assist with cutover planning, production data validation and post-implementation support.
• Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders to validate data and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain data documentation, governance standards and clear data ownership.
