Job summary

eHealth NSW, part of NSW Health, seeks a Senior Cyber Security Specialist to lead a major cyber security uplift with hybrid flexibility from our Chatswood office.

You will provide expert guidance on controls, support ISMS, conduct risk assessments, and partner with project teams to embed security into designs. The role offers a temporary full-time arrangement with strong salary, super, and leave loading.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Information Security or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of ACSC Essential Eight, ISO/IEC 27001, IRAP, NSW Cyber Security Policy.
• Experience with CyberArk EPM is desirable.
• Ability to assess technical risks and provide actionable recommendations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist guidance on cyber security controls.
• Support implementation and ongoing improvement of ISMS.
• Conduct technical risk assessments and mitigation recommendations.
• Partner with project teams to embed security requirements in designs.
• Collaborate with technical teams to monitor threats and support incident response.
• Contribute to cyber security policies, procedures and awareness programs.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices.
