Job summary

Clicks IT Recruitment seeks a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to support a major banking program in Sydney. Hybrid working arrangement with a 6-month contract and immediate start.

You will collaborate with cyber security, cloud, and infrastructure teams to strengthen controls and resilience against threats. The role focuses on vulnerability management, threat detection, and risk-based remediation, with a strong emphasis on standards such as ASD ISM, NIST CSF and CIS Benchmarks.

Qualifications

• Experience with vulnerability management tools such as Tenable, Qualys or Rapid7.
• Strong understanding of security hardening and configuration management.
• Experience responding to critical vulnerabilities and cyber threats.
• Knowledge of Essential Eight, ASD ISM, NIST CSF and CIS Benchmarks.
• Ability to assess risk and prioritise remediation efforts.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive vulnerability remediation and exposure management activities.
• Coordinate responses to critical vulnerabilities and emerging cyber threats.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk-based prioritisation.
• Support threat advisory activities and risk reduction programs.
• Improve security metrics, reporting and compliance capabilities.
• Partner with technology and business stakeholders to improve cyber posture.
• Develop and maintain operational standards and security procedures.
