CEVA Logistics is seeking an experienced Customs Manager for Banksmeadow NSW to lead our Australian customs brokerage operations. You will manage a team of senior customs brokers, ensure compliance with customs and biosecurity regulations, and drive performance and cost control across national clearance services.

The role combines technical expertise with leadership and commercial accountability. Based at Banksmeadow, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and oversee offshore

Competenze

• Current Australian Customs Broker Licence and relevant qualifications.
• Extensive customs brokerage experience with leadership of teams in freight forwarding or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of Australian customs, biosecurity, tariff classification and trade agreements.

Mansioni

• Lead Australian customs brokerage operations, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Coach and develop a team of customs professionals and drive service culture.
• Oversee complex matters including tariff classification, valuation and permits.
• Manage workflows, resources and priorities to meet service and productivity targets.
• Coordinate offshore processing activities and ensure quality controls and timely handovers.
• Escalate complex issues and work with stakeholders and authorities.
• Ensure data accuracy in customs and freight management systems and maintain compliance records.
• Monitor department costs, billing accuracy and financial performance.
• Collaborate with Air & Ocean operations, customer service and commercial teams.
• Drive continuous improvement and system enhancements across customs.
