Job summary

Pearson Carter Limited is seeking a Senior CriticalNetwork Engineer in Perth, WA. You will design, implement, and secure infrastructure spanning on‑premises and cloud platforms, collaborating with cybersecurity and operations teams to ensure resilience and availability.

You will lead modernization projects, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to disaster recovery and monitoring programs within a dynamic, essential services environment. Hybrid work in Perth is available.

Qualifications

5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering or a similar technical role.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux environments.
Exposure to Azure, AWS or hybrid cloud environments.
Exposure to cybersecurity principles and infrastructure hardening.

Responsibilities

Design, implement and maintain critical infrastructure systems across on-premises and cloud environments.
Support infrastructure modernisation and technology transformation projects.
Work with networking, virtualisation, server and storage technologies.
Identify infrastructure risks and implement improvements to system resilience and availability.
Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to strengthen security controls and operational practices.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide senior-level technical guidance.
Contribute to disaster recovery, business continuity and infrastructure monitoring initiatives.
