Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Associate, Cost Management in Sydney to lead cost management across workplace, fit-out, refurbishment and capital projects. You will partner with project managers, consultants and contractors to deliver strategic cost advice and robust commercial outcomes.

You will mentor junior professionals, contribute to client relationships and business development, and ensure governance and value across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Lead cost management commissions from inception through completion.
• Provide independent commercial advice and manage project finances.
• Support growth through client relationships and work-winning opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost and commercial management across workplace, fit-out, refurbishment and capital projects.
• Prepare cost plans, budgets, cash flows and benchmark studies.
• Provide strategic cost advice through planning, design, procurement and delivery phases.
• Manage procurement, tender evaluations and negotiations.
• Administer contracts and manage variations and final accounts.
• Monitor project financial performance and forecast risks and changes.
• Present cost reports and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Mentor Cost Managers and Graduates.
• Support business development activities and client pursuits.
• Identify opportunities for repeat work and expanded services.
