Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Australia seeks a Senior/Associate Cost Manager to lead end-to-end cost management on major projects. You will be the day-to-day client interface, driving cost plans, tendering, procurement and post-contract cost control.

The role requires a recognised Quantity Surveying degree with MRICS/AIQS, and 6–11 years’ consultancy experience in construction. CostX, CATO and CADMeas experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 6–11 years’ experience delivering consultancy services within construction.
• Experience leading cost management commissions on medium to large projects.
• Strong knowledge of procurement routes, value management and VE.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end cost management commissions on medium to large, complex construction projects.
• Act as day-to-day client interface to ensure objectives are met.
• Deliver projects to time, cost and quality targets across lifecycle.
• Produce feasibility studies, cost plans and tender documentation.
• Manage tendering and procurement processes from prequalification to award.
• Provide post-contract cost control including valuations, changes, reporting.
• Mentor cost management team members and support business development.
